Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate care.
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient care procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in high-tension environments.
• Ability to read and perform basic math.
• Ability to organize tasks and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meals and drinks and meal ordering.
• Encourage patient mobility and walking.
• Assist with baths and hygiene and provide clean linens.
• Provide bedside care to support the RN and monitor patient safety.
• Report abnormalities or changes to the RN or charge nurse.
• Maintain infection control and safety practices.
