Job summary

Mercy Health in Boardman, OH is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients under RN guidance. The role includes sanitizing rooms, monitoring vitals, assisting with feeding and grooming, and ensuring comfort and safety for our patients.

Qualifications

• BLS Basic Life Support preferred; obtain before direct patient care.
• Nursing aide training or STNA/CNA required as applicable.
• 1 year of clinical patient-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including comfort, hygiene and mobility.
• Monitor health status and vitals; report changes to nurse.
• Assist with feeding, grooming and daily activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Support hand-offs with clear information about patient needs.
