Job summary

Pana Community Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for the CMC Specialty Clinic. This role is the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient registration process while supporting clinic operations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, registering information, scheduling, verifying insurance, collecting payments, triaging calls, and maintaining HIPAA compliance. Experience in medical office settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills; ability to navigate multiple applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Friendly, compassionate, and committed to outstanding customer service.
• Experience with office equipment (calculators, printers, copiers, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities
