Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, delivering a superior customer experience. The role includes greeting, check-in/out, and verifying patient information while maintaining PHI privacy and collaborating with caregivers.

The position is part-time (20 hours/week) with morning shifts in Murray, UT, providing courteous service over the phone, in person, and via secure messaging and supporting billing and registration tasks.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal/communication skills.
• Ability to protect PHI and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous connections with patients by phone, in person, or secure messaging.
• Document all calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule appointments for visits, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Register patients by updating demographic data in the registration system.
