Job summary

You will engage with patients via in-person, phone, or electronic channels, explaining processes, collecting payments, verifying insurance, and assisting with ABNs and consent forms. EHR training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1-3 years related work experience; MS Office experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and explains registration process.
• Processes payments and reconciles cash drawer daily.
• Completes Medicare Questionnaire and adjusts coverage.
• Obtains signatures on consent/financial forms; scans and records documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs.
• Maintains a neat registration desk and protects patient confidentiality.
• Schedules and reschedules patient appointments; verifies insurance and demographics.
