Job summary

Responsibilities

• Register patients and coordinate referrals and scheduling for the department.
• Explain and obtain all required patient consents and authorizations, and collect financial paperwork and co-payments.
• Complete required Meditech and customer service training; participate in ongoing training.
• Adopt a proactive attitude to own patient challenges, and resolve or escalate as needed.
• May float to other areas in the department; adhere to HIPAA and privacy guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
