Job summary

Intuitive Health is seeking a Patient Access Advocate for full-time day shifts in our Indiana network. The role focuses on greeting patients, accurate registration, and front desk duties to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional service.

You will verify insurance, collect copays, answer phones, and support clinical staff with timely information while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a welcoming environment. Prior office experience in healthcare is preferred.

Qualifications

• Healthcare, hospital, or medical office experience preferred (EMR/EHR exposure helpful).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Register patients and update demographic, insurance, and billing information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copays and payments under guidelines.
• Facilitate patient flow by notifying staff of arrivals and delays.
• Answer phones, route calls, and provide general information.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Handle clerical tasks like copying, scanning, faxing, and filing.
• Keep waiting areas and front desk clean and organized.
• Support patients and families with a friendly, reassuring approach.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
