Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator I to support the Call Center in Bourbonnais, IL. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality customer service, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient data.

This part-time position requires 20–24 hours per week. Base pay is $19–$23 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience in a customer service role (medical office experience is a plus).
• Epic EHR experience preferred and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Placing, receiving and routing a high volume of calls through the switchboard.
• Greeting callers in a compassionate, congenial and professional manner.
• Providing assistance to patients and family members, answering questions and supplying accurate information.
• Relaying messages or transferring calls to appropriate staff.
• Scheduling patient appointments and updating insurance/demographic data.
• Escalating patient complaints to the appropriate manager as needed.
