Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in insurance/clerical work within healthcare preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to type and perform data entry accurately.

Responsibilities

• Query EAD and enter patient demographics to obtain medical records and account numbers.
• Communicate collection policy and collect outstanding balances, deposits and payments.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations as needed.
• Assist other departments with patient information and processes.
