Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living in Springfield, Virginia, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care within our assisted living community.

You will collaborate with care teams to meet daily needs, implement care plans, document accurately, and promote safety and well-being for each resident. New graduates are encouraged to apply and grow with us.

Qualifications

• RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living or long-term care
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• A minimum of 6 months experience as an RN
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment preferred
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and web apps
• EMR experience preferred
• CPR certification required; BLS CPR must be current or completed within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach
• Perform clinical duties in line with state nurse practice act and standards
• Promote resident independence by teaching care goals and self-care skills
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety
• Collaborate with care associates for routine nursing care
• Maintain infection prevention and administer medications
• Coordinate holistic care plans with the team
• Support resident preferences in the EMR
• Ensure documentation is current and timely
• Participate in care conferences as requested by the Clinical Manager
