Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents at our Springfield, Virginia community.

In this role you will collaborate with caregivers and the clinical team to support daily needs, monitor resident health, administer medications, and maintain accurate documentation in our electronic medical records, while upholding our standards of safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, focusing on physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Promote resident independence by establishing care goals and teaching self-care skills.
• Monitor resident status and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates for routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate a holistic care plan with the interdisciplinary and neighborhood team.
• Document in the resident EMR and ensure information is current.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
