Job summary

Addus HomeCare is urgently hiring Flex Home Care Aides (HCAs) to support seniors and people with disabilities in their own homes. This role is on-call for 5 days per week with 40 hours per week (20 hours guaranteed) and a weekend day required.

The position requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to follow care plans and instructions with minimal supervision. Employees may be scheduled by the supervisor with shifts; the role involves driving to client locations and assisting with daily

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans for clients and report on tasks.
• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Provide or assist with routine house cleaning, meals, and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments and errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
