Job summary

PACS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with assessments and care plans. You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, and maintain a safe, warm environment under supervision.

Responsibilities include recording accurate notes, reporting changes to supervisors, and protecting resident privacy while delivering compassionate care. CPR is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristband or photo card.
• Record entries using only authorized abbreviations established by the facility.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report suspected disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily functions and personal care to ensure comfort and safety.
• Observe and report injuries or skin issues to prevent decubitus ulcers.
