Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care such as bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measures and documents vitals and intake/output; records in EMR.
• Performs patient rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Assists in admission, transfer, discharge and room setup.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintains stock, cleans equipment, and supports transport and nutrition tasks.
