Advocate Health seeks a dedicated Nurse Aide to support nursing staff in daily patient care, including bathing, feeding, and mobility. The role requires accurate documentation in the EMR, adherence to infection prevention, and timely communication of patient needs to the RN.

Lifting and transfer duties are involved, with focus on patient safety and comfort. Education required: High School Diploma or GED/HSED; BLS certification timely completion.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED/HSED.
• No experience required.
• Annual hospital certifications may be required to maintain employment.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, ambulation).
• Record and document vital signs and patient data in EMR.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care tests as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock in nursing area.
• Assist with patient positioning, mobility, and transfers.
