Job summary

Avamere Living is seeking a personable Server for a memory care, assisted living, and independent living facility in Las Vegas. You will provide excellent dining service, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and maintain a clean dining environment for residents and guests.

You will work as part of a compassionate team, handle room service orders, and answer questions about the menu and dietary needs while upholding strict food safety standards and resident confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Must maintain personal hygiene and hair restraints.
• Interpersonal skills to relate with residents and staff.
• Ability to learn and operate kitchen equipment.
• Must obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Must hold a Food Handlers card issued by local Health Department.
• Understand dietary practices and related regulations for care facilities.
• Be friendly, attentive, and professional with residents and guests.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Promptly delivering food and beverages to residents and presenting them attractively.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and check on residents during meals.
• Set up dining room before meals and maintain cleanliness during service.
• Clear tables after meals and reset for next service.
• Take and deliver room service orders to residents.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu and dietary needs; answer questions.
• Interact professionally with residents and guests; create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with wait staff and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Dispose of food and waste per established policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
