Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is seeking a part-time server at our Las Vegas location to provide excellent dining service in a memory care/assisted living setting. You will take orders, serve meals, set up tables, and ensure a clean, welcoming dining environment for residents and guests.

Responsibilities include delivering meals, assisting with room service, and answering questions about the menu and dietary needs while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor and adhering to food safety

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required or in-progress.
• Food Handlers card issued by local Health Department required.
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment and follow service routines.
• Demonstrates compassion for elderly residents and maintains professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Promptly delivering food and beverages and presenting them attractively.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and address residents' needs during meals.
• Assist with dining room setup, table settings, and cleanliness before and after meals.
• Take and deliver room service orders to residents' apartments.
• Answer questions about the menu and dietary needs; maintain warmth and professionalism.
• Follow food safety, hygiene procedures, and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with wait staff and kitchen to ensure smooth service.
• Dispose of waste according to policies and assist with other duties as needed.
