Job summary

Avamere Living is seeking a courteous Server to join our memory care, assisted living, and independent living community in a part-time/on-call capacity. You will take orders, serve meals, and ensure a positive dining experience for residents.

Weekend availability is required, with on-call shifts across all schedules as needed. Responsibilities include setting up and clearing dining areas, providing attentive service, handling room service orders, and maintaining strict food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Ability to maintain personal hygiene and hair control.
• Interpersonal skills to work with residents and staff.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
• CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Food Handler card issued by local Health Department.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meals and beverages to residents.
• Promptly and courteously delivering orders and presenting food attractively.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and check residents' needs during meals.
• Set up dining room before meals and maintain cleanliness during service.
• Clear tables and reset for next service.
• Take and deliver room service orders to residents’ apartments.
• Answer questions about menu and dietary needs.
• Interact professionally with residents and guests.
