Job summary

Avamere at Cheyenne in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Part-time Server to provide outstanding dining service in memory care, assisted living and independent living settings. You will take orders, serve meals, reset tables, and ensure a warm, safe dining environment for residents and guests.

Responsibilities include accurate order taking, prompt service, food safety, collaboration with kitchen staff, and maintaining cleanliness. Prior experience with elderly care is valued.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Ability to obtain and maintain active CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Current Food Handlers card issued by local Health Department.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and procedures in hospital/nursing home settings.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Promptly delivering food and beverages to residents and presenting them attractively.
• Providing attentive, friendly service and addressing residents' needs.
• Setting up and clearing dining tables and maintaining cleanliness during service.
• Taking and delivering room service orders to residents' apartments.
• collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
