Responsibilities include observing residents’ interests, assisting with routines, and collaborating with team members to create engaging plans while upholding safety and dignity for all residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write, and communicate in English with Residents.

Responsibilities

• Advocate empathy by creating human connections with residents.
• Act as a Patient Observer to learn residents’ interests and needs.
• Master the mise en scène: set the stage for daily routines and events.
• Partner with residents to support daily activities from wake to sleep.
• Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.
• Assist orientation of memory care team members.
