Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Middletown, OH is seeking a Medication Technician for the day shift (7am–7pm). You will support residents' daily medication needs with compassion and dignity, following physician orders and Bickford policies.

This is a full-time role with eligibility for comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include accurate medication delivery, utilizing the eMAR system, and mentoring other care team members on shift.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification or at least 1 year in senior care.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly.
• Ability to use eMAR for medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Follow MAR/physician orders to administer medications accurately.
• Follow Six Rights of medication administration and internal policies.
• Utilize eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for care guidance.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed teammates as needed.
• Lead by example with Bickford's Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’.
