Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident care and administer daily medications with compassion and respect for resident dignity.

This role offers day and evening shifts with full-time benefits and the option for daily pay; CPR/First Aid are required and familiarity with eMAR is preferred. Join a team dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors and practicing the Bickford Mission on every shift.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of experience in senior care.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to take additional state-required training.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate clearly.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Understand and follow the Six rights of medication administration and all policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members on shift.
• Model the Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ to all team members on shift.
