Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Medication Technician to support resident care and manage daily medication needs with compassion while upholding dignity. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a dynamic branch environment.

Responsibilities include following physician orders, using the eMAR system, and collaborating with clinical leadership to ensure quality care for residents. A strong emphasis on the Bickford Mission, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Active Medication Technician Certification or 1+ year of senior care experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Willing to take additional state-required training.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Follow Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed staff on shift.
• Demonstrate Bickford Mission through leadership on shift.
