Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Indianapolis is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the care team. You will be the first contact for patient care, performing clinical duties, collecting specimens, and documenting in the EMR system.

The role is onsite and requires collaboration with physicians and advanced practice providers to support patient care. Required MA credential or training, high school diploma, CPR certification, and TB screening; preferred experience includes phlebotomy and

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or CMA/Registered MA
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certification
• TB screening participation as part of Humana program

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical responsibilities: obtain vital signs, discuss symptoms, administer medications and vaccines.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens and conduct diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize and clean equipment, maintain examination rooms and document information in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers and support patient care activities.
