Job summary

CenterWell Certified Healthcare Corp. in Indianapolis is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care, handling both clinical and administrative duties onsite.

You will take vital signs, discuss symptoms, perform phlebotomy, vaccines administration, document in the EMR, and collaborate with physicians and AP providers. Must have MA training or 3+ years experience and CPR; TB screening is required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed MA school or training program or 3+ years of experience with provider approval.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• TB screening as part of Humana program.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and discuss symptoms with patients.
• Administer medications and vaccines as permitted by certification.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Sterilize equipment and maintain examination rooms.
• Document patient information into the EMR and collaborate with physicians.
