Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in the United States is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its caring team onsite. You will be the first contact for patient care, handle administrative duties and support clinical tasks under supervision.

Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, administering medications and vaccines when qualified, performing phlebotomy, preparing examination rooms, and documenting in the EMR. A CPR certification and an MA credential are required.

Qualifications

• Must be Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• TB screening is part of the role and you will be screened for TB.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, and administer medications and vaccines.
• Phlebotomy, specimen collection, and diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize and clean equipment; maintain examination rooms; document in EMR.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Deliver direct patient care within active certification scope.
• Interpret area/department policies and complete assignments within defined parameters.
• Follow standard procedures with some interpretation and deviation.
