Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patients, handling administrative tasks alongside clinical duties. You will obtain vital signs, assist with vaccines, perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and support diagnostic screenings.

You’ll maintain clean, organized exam rooms and document in the EMR, collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers.

Qualifications

• Completed MA school/training or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• TB screening as part of role.

Responsibilities

• Act as first contact for patients, performing admin and clinical tasks.
• Discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, administer medications or vaccines as allowed by certification.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and conduct diagnostic screenings.
• Sterilize equipment, maintain exam rooms, and document in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians/APPs to provide patient care.
