Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an MA program or comparable healthcare vocational training required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience is highly desirable.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake, measure vital signs, take medical history and perform routine screenings.
• Greet and room members, communicate changes to PCP and other clinicians.
• Process patient calls, coordinate with the team, and relay information to physicians.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, and assist with first aid under supervision.
• Maintain OSHA safety standards and accurate documentation.
• Provide health coaching and conduct follow-up calls with coached patients.
