Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the primary care team. You will greet patients, take vital signs, collect medical history, and assist the PCP during visits. You will coordinate with clinicians and handle patient communication, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.

The role requires 1 year of MA experience, an accredited MA program, and BLS certification. Familiarity with EClinical Works is a plus, and travel for meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training.
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months' phlebotomy experience is highly desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EMR experience with EClinical Works or similar.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room ArchWell Health members, conduct intake, measure vital signs, gather medical history.
• Assist PCP during appointments and coordinate care with the broader team.
• Respond to patient messages, relay information, and route calls as needed.
• Assist with dressings, sutures, and basic first aid under physician supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with patients weekly.
