Qualifications

Must have state or national MA certification or completion of an accredited MA program.
Minimum 1 year of medical assistant experience.
CPR or BLS certification.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple programs.

Responsibilities

Ensure efficient patient flow and routine screenings.
Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms.
Handle patient requests and telephonic support for lab results and records.
Administer vaccines and perform point of care tests as permitted by state regulation.
Import documents into EMR and participate in care team meetings.
Process orders for durable medical equipment and request medical records as needed.
