Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered LVN license in the state.
• 2 years of long-term care experience preferred.
• Six months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, and professional attitude.
• Strong knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Outlook/Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
• Deliver care to residents following their plan of care and physician orders.
• Familiarize staff with facility policies and daily nursing operations.
• Protect resident privacy and report any disclosures as required.
• Conduct frequent rounds to ensure nursing standards are met across the unit.
• Oversee nurse aides and coordinate care within the department.
