Paradigm at Westbury in Houston, TX seeks a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct nursing care under supervision, ensuring care plans and physician orders are followed while upholding resident safety and privacy.

The role requires leadership, organizational skills, and professionalism, with preferred experience in long-term care and rehabilitative nursing. A strong working knowledge of Point Click Care is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license in Texas.
• 2 years’ experience in long-term care preferred.
• Six months in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership, strong organizational skills, and professionalism.
• Strong knowledge of Point Click Care is preferred.
• Computer literacy: Outlook, Office, and Internet.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision of an RN or physician.
• Deliver care per plan of care and physician orders.
• Follow facility policies for nursing services and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information and report violations promptly.
• Make frequent rounds to ensure staff are performing to nursing standards.
• Oversee aides and coordinate with staff to ensure policy compliance within the department.
