Job summary

Bethesda Health Group in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide bedside nursing care, assess residents, and document care plans and changes in condition.

You will collaborate with the IDT team, follow the SBARR communication tool, and ensure safe medication administration and IV care where certified. The role requires current LPN licensure, CPR/AED, IV certification or willingness to obtain within six months, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in LPN licensure.
• Current LPN license in the state of employment.
• CPR and AED certification required or willingness to obtain within six months.
• IV certification required or willingness to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care and assists in resident assessment on admission and ongoing basis.
• Communicates changes in condition to the interdisciplinary team and updates care plans as needed.
• Ensures safe medication administration and treatments; documents interventions timely and accurately.
