Job summary

PrimeCare Home Care Services in Kentucky is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide compassionate at-home support, help with daily living activities, and implement individualized care plans to improve clients' quality of life.

The role requires in-home health care experience, HHA or PCA certification, CPR/BLS, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. You will build trust with clients and families, document care, and collaborate with supervisors to ensure safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Experience in home health care as a Personal Care Assistant is required.
• Excellent customer service and attention to client needs.
• HHA or PCA certification is required.
• Valid BLS (First Aid & CPR) training in person.
• TB screening/PPD or chest X-ray within 30 days.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Empathy, compassion, and kindness are essential.
• Ability to use sound judgment and stay calm in varied situations.
• Reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness.
• Basic computer skills and general tech savviness.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. and background check/reference.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tasks on clients following care plans.
• Help clients maintain personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Take and record vital signs as assigned.
• Provide companionship when needed.
