Qualifications

• Current PCA or CNA certification in North Carolina
• CPR certification is preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation
• Customer service oriented and able to liaise with clients and families
• Independent worker with good communication</li>
• Willingness to use technology and computerized systems
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Bilingual preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day ADL and IADL support
• Assist with personal care per care plan
• Assist with baths, grooming, dressing and toileting
• Support ambulation and mobility
• Assist with therapy exercises under supervision
• Maintain clean, safe home environment
• Plan and prepare meals per dietary requirements
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Assist with shopping, errands, appointments
• Provide companionship and engage client activities
• Document shift details accurately
• Ensure client and personal safety
• Participate in staff development and training
• Maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor
