Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is seeking Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to provide in-home non-medical support to adults and seniors in Maine. No experience is required as training and supervision are provided.

Position offers full-time or part-time hours with day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts where applicable. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for pay increases based on performance and certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Active PSS certification in the State of Maine, or willingness to enroll within 60 days of hire.
• CNA (active or inactive) accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care and hygiene.
• Support mobility and transfers with/without aids.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and changing bed linens.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving, shopping, and errands per care plan.
• Provide companionship and assist with daily routines or hobbies.
