Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living in Corvallis, OR is seeking a universal employee to clean resident apartments and common areas, and to cross-train in other roles as directed by the supervisor. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform housekeeping duties following sanitation standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents about apartment care.
• Ability to present meal alternatives to residents and guests.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain knowledge of Hawthorn Employee Handbook.
• Adhere to company policies and standards.
• Clean resident apartments following Hawthorn guidelines (vacuum, dust, clean bathroom/kitchenette, replace linens, deep clean).
• Clean community areas (vacuum, mop, dust, restrooms, windows, trash removal).
• Serve meals: greet residents, take orders, deliver to kitchen, assist with opening packages, deliver trays, bus tables, and maintain dining area.
• Complete side duties (sugar/creamer, beverage center) and ensure food‑handlers permits as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel and resident information.
