Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living is seeking a dedicated team member to clean resident apartments and common areas, and to serve meals to residents in a courteous manner. The role involves cross-training in other positions as directed and maintaining high sanitation and safety standards.

The job requires 18+ years of age, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform housekeeping duties following sanitation standards.
• Ability to communicate with residents in the care and cleaning of their apartments.
• Ability to present meal alternatives to residents and guests.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Regular, on-site attendance and punctuality are required.
• Cleans resident apartments and common areas per Hawthorn guidelines and schedule.
• Serves meals to residents and guests, and maintains dining area cleanliness.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards; follows company procedures.
