Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a Massage Therapist to provide individualized massage therapy to patients and families in a home-based setting under the supervision of the Manager of Clinical Services.

You will support the care plan, assess needs, and document outcomes while ensuring privacy and compliance with HIPAA regulations. The role emphasizes compassionate care to improve comfort, reduce anxiety and pain, and collaborate with RN Case Managers and other team members to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

• Current Massage Therapist License or Bodywork Therapist License in practicing states.
• Valid State Driver’s License and automobile in good working order.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct massage therapy at the direction of Clinical Supervisor/Manager of Clinical Services in accordance with the plan of care.
• Assess patient and referral for appropriate medical indication and determine effectiveness of therapy.
• Document sessions and maintain records within 24–48 hours of each session.
• Educate clinical team regarding appropriateness or contraindications for therapy treatment.
• Participate in in-service education and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.
