Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a compassionate Massage Therapist to join our clinical team.

You will work under supervision to provide therapeutic massage that complements medical care, aiming to relieve pain and improve comfort for patients and families at the end of life. Requirements include graduation from an accredited program, an active massage license, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug checks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy program.
• Current Massage Therapist License in practicing state.
• Valid State Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provides massage therapy per Clinical Supervisor/Manager plan of care; assesses patients for appropriate medical indication and treatment effectiveness.
• Administers therapeutic interventions (Swedish Massage, Comfort Touch, Energy work, compressions) to alleviate symptoms.
• Observes and reports patient responses and condition changes to supervisor; educates clinical team on treatment appropriateness.
• Maintains required documentation in patient records within 24–48 hours of sessions; participates in quality improvement activities.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and confidentiality, and performs other duties as assigned.
