Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant course or equivalent training.
• Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) certification.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification (hands-on skills observed).
• Current Food Handlers Permit.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care needs and respond promptly to patient requests.
• Provide patient and family with positive, confidential communication.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
• Assist with baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, and changing linens.
• Assist in dressing, feeding, and mobility as assigned.
• Report pain or changes to the RN Case Manager and document care.
• Assist with self-administered medications as allowed by state regulations.
• Maintain patient living area clean and orderly.
• Engage in quality assessment and team improvement activities.
