Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking Hospice Nursing Aides to provide compassionate in-home care for hospice patients, assisting with personal tasks and hygiene while supporting families. You will help with bedding, bathing, wound care and daily routines.

This role emphasizes dignity, comfort, and high-quality home-based care. Work closely with supervising RNs, maintain clear communication, and participate in training to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year full-time direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility) or one year in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting within the last five years.
• Registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist hospice patients with personal care tasks such as changing bedding, changing clothing, bathing, and maintaining wound dressings to support comfort and dignity.
• Coordinate with supervising RNs and inform the health care team about patient progression and family needs.
