Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking Hospice Nursing Aides to support patients with personal care and daily living tasks in a home-based setting. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses to ensure comfort and safety for patients and families.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, and assisting with routine care while maintaining wound care and hygiene standards. CPR certification and active CNA registry are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year full-time direct client care experience in an institutional setting or home health/hospice in the last five years.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care for hospice patients, including bathing, changing bedding, and helping with hygienic routines.
• Support families by teaching basic self-care tasks and coordinating with supervising RNs.
• Keep wound dressings clean and dry and communicate patient progression to the hospice team.
