Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Hospice Nursing Aide to assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients, including bathing, dressing, and daily hygiene. You will support families and coordinate with supervising RNs to monitor patient needs.

Responsibilities include maintaining wound care cleanliness, assisting with mobility, and contributing to a compassionate home-based care environment. Must meet state requirements and hold CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver license.
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
• Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Must complete training, competency evaluation in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Must possess CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Enhabit Hospice Nursing Aides assist with personal care tasks including bathing, changing bedding, and dressing.
• Assist with hygienic routines such as brushing teeth, washing hair and keeping wound dressings clean and dry.
• Nursing Aides consult regularly with supervising RNs to update the team on patient progression and family needs.
