Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Hospice Nursing Aide to assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients, including bathing, repositioning, and daily hygiene. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses to ensure comfort and safety in the home setting.

Responsibilities also include supporting families, teaching basic care routines, and documenting patient progress in coordination with the care team while complying with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year full-time direct client care in an institutional setting or home health/hospice setting within the last five years.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to hospice patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygienic routines, with attention to comfort and dignity.
• Assist patients' families by guiding them on basic health-care routines and home care tasks.
• Coordinate with supervising RNs to keep the team informed about patient progression and family needs.
