Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks compassionate Hospice Nursing Aides to assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients at home. You will help with bathing, dressing, and daily routines, while supporting families in caregiving activities.

You'll collaborate with supervising RNs, ensuring patient progress is communicated and care plans are followed. A valid state driver license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following requirements: 1) one year full-time direct client care in an institutional setting; 2) one year direct client care in home health or hospice within last five years.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must possess basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care issues including changing bedding, clothing, bathing hospice patients, and hygienic routines.
• Instruct families on basic health-care routines and support care at home.
• Consult regularly with supervising RNs to keep the team informed of patient progress and family needs.
