Job summary
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Hospice Nursing Aide to assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene routines. You will work under supervision with registered nurses to monitor patient progression and assist families in caring for their loved ones.
Responsibilities include supporting daily living activities, maintaining wound dressings, and helping patients stay comfortable.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a valid state driver’s license.
- Must possess CPR certification.
- Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients, including bathing and dressing.
- Support hygiene routines such as brushing teeth, hair washing, and wound care as directed.
- Coordinate with supervising nurses to communicate patient progression and family needs.
- Instruct families on basic health-care routines as needed.
