Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Nursing Aide to support patients and families at home. You will assist with daily personal care tasks and help maintain a safe, respectful home environment.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following requirements. 1) have a minimum of one year full time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility); 2) have one year experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks including changing bedding, changing clothing, bathing hospice patients.
• Help with hygienic routines such as brushing teeth, washing hair and keeping wound dressings clean and dry.
• Consult regularly with supervising RNs to keep the hospice team apprised of patients progression and families needs.
