Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, through UP Health System Hospice, seeks a Hospice Aide to support individuals in their own homes with personal care and daily living activities. You will assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation and medication reminders while also helping with household tasks and errands.

Responsibilities include monitoring client condition, documenting vital signs, maintaining confidentiality via EVV, and ensuring a safe home environment.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
• CPR certification preferred.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
