Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, through Elite Hospice of LHC Group, is seeking a Hospice Home and Community Based Services Aide to provide compassionate in-home support, helping clients maintain independence.

You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, meal preparation, transportation, and documentation while ensuring safety and confidentiality. The role requires TX-specific credentials and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• TX: Home Health Aide requires 1 year of direct client care experience or recent training with competency evaluation.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Ability to work with clients of diverse backgrounds.
